Tigers Open Fall Schedule at Wallace State Invitational

CULLMAN, Ala. -- The Tigers opened the fall season at the Wallace State Invitational, finishing in eighth place, out of eleven teams, after shooting a 305-303-302 - 910. Erik Sundstrom carded a final round 71 on the Cross Creek Golf Course, to vault ten spots on the individual leaderboard, while Brett Ammons shot 72-76-76 - 224 as both finished as the top Andrew player, in a T27th. Sundstrom shot 79-74-71 for the two-day tourney. 

Joey Hendrix turned in a 73-78-74 - 225 to climb three spots and finished T32nd. Anthony Whobrey with an 81-75-82 - 238 and Jacob Whann with an 81-88 -88- 250, rounded out the Tiger scores. 

The Tigers take a three week break from tournament golf, before playing in the Calhoun Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Calhoun Community College, at the Point Mallard Golf Course, in Decatur, Ala., on October 10-11.

The Tigers follow that tournament up with the the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Fall Invitational on October 17-18 at the Grand Bear Golf Club, in Saucier, Miss.
