FOLEY, Ala. -- The Andrew College men's golf team finished Tuesday afternoon where they started Tuesday morning, to finish 10th in a field of 14 teams at the Glenlakes Invitational, being hosted by Coastal Alabama-South at the Glenlakes Golf Club. The Tigers shot 324-313-328=965 in their final tuneup before the 2019 NJCAA District 4 Championships next month.
Rasmus Konradsson again paced the Tiger attack, firing a 72-75-79=226(+10) to finish T14th. Logan Bracey carded a 79-80-83=242(+26), landing at T37th, Grant Richardson posted the low score for the Tigers on Tuesday, signing for a 88-79-77=244(+28) to climb to T42nd on the individual board, and Jacob Brantefelt finished with an 85-79-89=253(+37) to finish 54th.
The Tigers will now get ready for the 2019 NJCAA District 4 Championships on April 22-23 in Marion, IL at the Links of Kokopelli, at the Kokopelli Golf Club. The course measures 6716 yds., and plays to a Par 72. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Both teams and individuals will gain entry into the NJCAA Div. I Men's Golf Championships being hosted at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, FL in mid-May, from the District 4 results.
