Payton Johnson enters her second year as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Andrew College.

A native of Dacula, Georgia, Johnson brings a strong background in collegiate athletics and a passion for player development. A graduate of Hebron Christian Academy, she enjoyed a five-year collegiate playing career, spending four years at Georgia Southwestern State University and her final year at Albany State University.

Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in school psychology, combining her love for sports with a deep interest in mental performance and student well-being. Her experience at the collegiate level has shaped her leadership style, emphasizing resilience, teamwork and intentional growth on and off the field.

Known for her calm demeanor and competitive edge, Johnson leads with empathy and purpose. Whether she is helping an athlete refine their game or navigate life beyond the pitch, she brings energy, focus and genuine care.

When she is not on the field, Johnson enjoys spending time with her dog, Cane, who serves as an unofficial team mascot.
