With over two decades of coaching experience, Richard Watkins is a seasoned leader who brings energy, consistency, and championship-level insight to the team. Originally from Carrollton, Georgia, Watkins is a graduate of Harris County High School and went on to earn his degree in Sport Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of West Georgia.

A decorated athlete himself, Watkins is a three-time UCA Collegiate Champion, an accomplishment that speaks to his drive, discipline, and understanding of what it takes to perform and win at the highest level. Over the course of his 23-year coaching career, he has mentored countless student-athletes and built a reputation for fostering a positive, focused, and accountable team culture.

Beyond his professional life, Watkins is a proud father to Cash and Pyper, who serve as his greatest motivation and biggest fans.
