The Andrew College Fighting Tigers and the SC Central Christian College Gladiators faced off for the 1st time in program history.
In the first quarter the first possession for SC Central Gladiators they were stopped on all four downs while Andrew's first play had a running touchdown. The Fighting Tigers later forced a fumble and recovered the ball. The Tigers did get stopped and were forced to punt the ball. Midway into the quarter the Fighting Tigers sacked the Quarterback in the endzone for a safety, thus making the score 9-0 and that being the score at the end of the quarter.
The very first play of the second quarter for Andrew running back Marquia Harris Jr. did a 15-yard run for a touchdown and making the score 16-0 for the Fighting Tigers. After the kickoff, the Gladiators went for it again on 4th and 5 and the Fighting Tigers forced a fumble and recovered it again. Offensively for the Fighting Tigers the Quarterback for the Tigers on 4th and 15 go for it and Caver III rushes for 15 yards and gets the first down. Then RB MJ Spurlin rushed it in for a touchdown, with the score now being 23-0. The Gladiators receiving team on the kickoff Jeremiah Daniels received the ball at the 25-yard line then got up to midfield. Rushing for the Tigers both Anthony Chirombo & Antonio Hardge had rushes over 10 yards. The Gladiators outside linebacker Montre Fletcher did tackle Hardge for a loss and stopped Andrew from scoring right before the half. The halftime score is 23-0.
In the 3rd quarter Andrew's cornerback Jayden Walker had an interception. The Gladiator's special teams did block a field goal attempt. The only offense in the quarter was when Caver III threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Jaden Jones and put the Fighting Tigers up 30-0.
In the 4th quarter Gladiator's Hyden Champman went on the run and lost the ball while Andrew's Raymond Mangham recovered the football on the 22-yard line.
