Football Home Opener vs Georgia Knights
Cuthbert, Ga- The Andrew College Fighting Tigers football team Home Opener
Nick Garrett is in his second season as the Head Coach of the Fighting Tigers football program here at Andrew College. Last year Andrew went 5-2 during the Inaugural season.
This year the Fighting Tigers are currently sitting at 2-0 and averaging scoring 34 points per game while only giving up seven points a game.
Andrew does have a few familiar faces on both sides of the ball so the returning presence for the Fighting Tigers helps keep the new players focused on the field.
The Fighting Tigers new home field will be at a new location and all home games will be played Early County High School in Blakely, GA.
The Athletic Director Brian Skortz said this about the first home football game of the year, "We are excited about the home opener at Early County High School. I want to thank Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Brown and her staff for their hospitality in allowing us to play our home football games there. Gates will open one hour prior to kickoff time. Tickets will be sold only at the gate with no re-entry. Come support the Fighting Tigers on Saturday."
Kick-Off for the Fighting Tigers at Early County High School on September 20th will start at 3pm EST vs the Georgia Knights
Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
