Cuthbert, Ga- Men's Basketball Stops Losing Streak with Win at Home
The Fighting Tigers this weekend played against Action Sports Academy at home.
Action Sports started off the game strong with a lead of being up 9 to 3. After a Time out by Andrew and Head Coach Brian Skortz, they brought the intensity and eventually took the lead of a score of 14 to 12 and did not look back. The Fighting Tigers were forcing tough shots for Action Academy making them shoot only 38 percent from the field for the half and scoring 31 points. While Andrew shot 55 percent from the field and had two players with double digit points helping them have the lead and score 55 points.
In the second half Andrew's defense kept strong as again they forced Action Sports Academy to shoot only 35 percent for the half and 37 percent for the entire game having 63 points. They were led by #1 Saige Frisco with 24 points.
While the Fighting Tigers shot 41 percent in the second half and 48 percent for the entire game and scored 98 points. The Fighting Tigers were led by Devin Moise having 14 points and 8 rebounds. Adding to the offense was Mekhi Witter & Kordes Swain both with 12 points, Keavonte Anderson with 11 points and Cole Kring with 14 Assists.
The next game for the Fighting Tigers will be on the road at the Gulf Coast State College located in Panama City, FL on November 20th at 8:00pm Est time.
