Game Preview: Andrew College Takes On Florida State College at Jacksonville in their Fall Semester Finale
CUTHBERT, Ga. —
In their final game of the fall semester, the Andrew College Fighting Tigers will face off against the Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Manta Rays on Dec. 15 at 6 p.m.
The Fighting Tigers have struggled to begin the season, and with the loss of Elijah Hightower and his 23.5 points per game, several Tigers have stepped up to the challenge, including Joshua Habersham, Jasiyah Suber and Michael Shaw II.
Over their last three games, Suber and Habersham have averaged 11 points per game, respectively, while each is on a three-game streak of scoring in double figures. Shaw II also stepped up on both sides of the ball on Dec. 6 against Oxford College, playing stifling defense while being one of three Tigers to score 10 points on the night, along with Habersham and Suber.
FSCJ comes into Cuthbert following a 99-85 loss to Eastern Florida State on Friday. Despite the loss, the Manta Rays sit at 10-3 on the season, including a 3-0 record away from home.
The matchup against FSCJ will be the Tigers' final contest before opening conference play on Jan. 7 against Albany Technical College.
