Game Preview: Men's and Women's Basketball vs. Southern Crescent Technical College
CUTHBERT, Ga. - For the first home game of the spring semester, the Andrew College Men's and Women's basketball teams return to Jinks Gymnasium to face Southern Crescent Technical College.
The Lady Tigers tip off at 1 p.m., followed by the Men's game at 3 p.m.
This marks the second conference matchup of the season for both teams. Both the men, 88-51, and women, 69-50, fell in Wednesday's contest against Albany Technical College. However, with the Lady Tigers sitting at 5-0 at home this season, there is no better opportunity to return to the win column. Andrew College was led in scoring by Kezoriyah Blackshear with 13 points, marking her sixth double-digit scoring effort of the season and her first since Nov. 22 against Coastal Alabama North.
The men's team has been through a challenging stretch, dropping its last eight games. However, with Elijah Hightower returning to the lineup, the Fighting Tigers will receive an added offensive boost moving forward.
Both games can be livestreamed on the athletics website at AndrewFightingTigers.com.
