Game Preview: Men’s Basketball vs. Central Georgia Technical College
CUTHBERT, Ga - With its 87-78 victory over Georgia Highlands College on Saturday, the Fighting Tigers will hit the road and travel to Warner Robins to face conference leader Central Georgia Technical College.
The Andrew College Men's Basketball team is riding its first three-game win streak of the season and will look to secure back-to-back road wins for the first time this year. With several players sidelined during the win over Georgia Highlands, the Fighting Tigers saw multiple players step up, led by Jasiyah Suber, who dropped a career-high 31 points. In just his second game of the season, Elijah White logged 20 points along with six rebounds to go along with Suber's 30-point performance.
After snapping an almost six-year losing skid against Georgia Highlands, Andrew College will look to do the same against Central Georgia. A win Wednesday night would mark the Tigers' first victory over Central Georgia since a 68-67 win on Jan. 14, 2023.
As the Tigers continue to find their rhythm, conference play is heating up. With a 2-1 conference record, Andrew College sits at No. 4 in the GCAA standings.
Wednesday's contest is part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader, with men's basketball set to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
