Game Preview: Men’s Basketball vs. South Georgia Technical College
CUTHBERT, Ga - The Fighting Tigers return to Jinks Gymnasium to face South Georgia Technical College. Sitting in second place in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association standings, South Georgia enters Saturday's matchup with an 11-8 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play. The Jets come into the game riding a three-game win streak.
Andrew College enters the weekend following a tough 64-43 loss to conference-leading Central Georgia Technical College. Despite the setback, sophomore guard Jasiyah Suber extended his double-digit scoring streak to four games with 10 points. With several key players sidelined, Suber has stepped up as the team's primary offensive option, highlighted by his career-high 31-point performance on Jan. 17 against Georgia Highlands.
As key starters find their rhythm like Elijah White and Elijah Hightower, the Fighting Tigers should have reinforcements coming soon. Regardless, Andrew is still alive as the No. 5 team in the conference at 2-2 overall.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
