Andrew College Basketball Games vs. East Georgia State Have Been Postponed
CUTHBERT, Ga. — Saturday's Men's and Women's Basketball games vs. East Georgia State College have been postponed due to inclement weather expected this weekend. Rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time.
With Georgia under an extreme cold watch, East Georgia State will be unable to travel due to the impending storm and potential snowfall.
Both Fighting Tigers teams are coming off tough losses over the past week. On Saturday, Jan. 24, South Georgia Technical College snapped the Lady Tigers' three-game winning streak. Men's basketball also fell to second-place South Georgia Tech following the women's game and is coming off a Wednesday loss to Gordon State College.
Despite recent struggles, both teams remain within striking distance of the conference championship. The Lady Tigers currently sit in third place in the conference standings with a 3-2 record.
Men's basketball will return to action Wednesday, Feb. 4, on the road against South Georgia State College, while the women will host Albany Technical College in their next contest.
