Elijah White Drops a Career-High 27 Points in Andrew Loss, 83-75

CUTHBERT, Ga - Andrew College Men's Basketball fell 83-75 versus third-place Albany Tech. Despite the loss, Wednesday's matchup showed what fans can expect for the rest of the season as F Elijah White dropped a career-high 27 points to go along with five rebounds.

Through eight games played this season, White is averaging 12.6 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 44.7 percent from the field. White returned from injury on Jan. 12 versus Brewton-Parker and has been a welcomed addition to this current Fighting Tigers squad. Of his eight games played, White has scored in double figures five times, including two 20-point performances.

Unfortunately, his scoring outburst and the Tigers' late-game rally were not enough to overcome the Titans' lead.

White was one of just two Andrew players to score in double figures. The other was G Koby Johnson. Johnson's 10 points on Wednesday night mark his third straight double-digit scoring performance after having just one in his previous eight games. Johnson, known for his athleticism, has seen increased minutes over the last few games and has made an impact on both sides of the ball.

The Fighting Tigers return to action on Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, for a road matchup against Georgia Highlands College.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
