CUTHBERT, Ga - In a thrilling matchup versus Georgia Highlands College, the Fighting Tigers fell 91-90 in overtime.
The Fighting Tigers have just six games left in the season, and Saturday's loss marked one of three remaining road contests. Of their six games remaining, four will be played at Jinks Gymnasium, including their next game against East Georgia on Monday, Feb. 16.
Despite the loss, four Fighting Tigers scored in double figures, including Elijah Hightower with 19 points, Elijah White with 14 points, Jasiyah Suber with 13 points and Joshua Habersham with 10.
After scoring seven points over his last two games, Hightower returned to form for his 12th double-digit scoring performance of the season. He is averaging 18.7 points per game while shooting 44 percent from the field and 40 percent from long range.
White also joined in on the scoring action as he secured his third straight game scoring 10 or more points. Over his last three games, White is averaging 18 points.
The Fighting Tigers return to action Monday against East Georgia with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
