Andrew Hosts South Georgia State in Regular Season Finale
CUTHBERT, Ga - In their final game of the 2025-26 regular season, the Fighting Tigers will suit up against No. 2-ranked South Georgia State College.
South Georgia enters Saturday's matchup riding a seven-game win streak. The Hawks are currently 19-10 on the season and 12-3 in conference play. Regardless of the opponent, the Fighting Tigers still have plenty of fight left in them. With impressive individual performances over the last few games, including Elijah Hightower's 25-point outing against Gordon State, Andrew has the talent to close the regular season with a major upset.
Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. and the outcome could determine Andrew's seeding for the upcoming GCAA tournament.
Along with Saturday being the final home game of the regular season, the Fighting Tigers will also take time prior to tip-off to celebrate their veteran players as part of Sophomore Day.
Andrew College will recognize nine sophomores on Saturday: Richard Dunston III, Devin Moise, Brice Google, Timothy Johnson, Elijah White, Elijah Hightower, Mantrel Mosley, Keavonte Anderson and Jasiyah Suber.
The sophomore class has helped carry the load for the Fighting Tigers this season, especially Suber, White, Hightower, Moise and Mosley. Often finding themselves in the starting rotation, the 2025-26 sophomore class for Andrew Men's Basketball has proven itself both on and off the court.
Following games scheduled across the conference this weekend, the GCAA will announce the matchups for the upcoming conference tournament. For more information regarding the GCAA tournament, visit AndrewFightingTigers.com or follow Andrew College Athletics on social media @athleticsandrew.
