Mangram’s Career Night Lifts JV Tigers Past East Georgia State

CUTHBERT, Ga - In their first game of the spring semester, the Men's Basketball JV team picked up a hard-fought 83-80 victory over East Georgia State, improving to 2-1 on the season.

Freshman guard Jayden Mangram led all scorers with a career-high 32 points on the night, followed by Tyler Jewell with 17. Mangram's 32 point performance surpasses his previous total of 24 points set on Dec. 1, 2025 against John Melvin Christian College.

The Fighting Tigers trailed through the majority of the game, down 46-40 heading into halftime. However, Andrew's presence in the paint was unstoppable. The Fighting Tigers went on to take the lead early in the third quarter and would not trail for the remainder of the game.

The Men's JV Basketball team takes the floor again in a double-header against Florida Coastal Prep on Jan. 25.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
