CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Playing in their first home match at Hord Athletic Complex since a pair of road victories, Andrew College handed LaGrange College JV a 5-0 loss to move to a perfect 5-0-0 on the season.

"We had good performances from a lot of players today," said head coach Rudy Roediger. "To see a lot of players not just play but make a difference is key to our success."

Andrew College saw a season-high 24 players play in the streak continuing victory.

The Fighting Tigers, posted the 5-0 win over the Panthers to secure the most wins in modern history for the 1992 NJCAA Division I National Runners-up and 10-time Region 17 Champions.

The boys in Blue & Gold started quickly when Abdel Rivas (Bradenton, Fla.) picked up a pass from the creative play of Daniel Bile (Norcross, Ga.) and sent a whipped cross to the back post where Jojo Mendes (Boca Raton, Fla.) headed home his first collegiate goal in the 8th minute.

Andrew College continued to apply pressure early as Macauley Hill (Manchester, England) picked out the run of Bile who tucked away a close range chance after rounding the LaGrange keeper for his third career goal in the 14th minute.

The seventh highest-scoring team in the NJCAA (18 goals) continued to push forward when Jack Alker (Wellington, Fla.) provided his first career point and assist. Alker found the path of a crashing Feliz Martinez (Miami, Fla.) to provide the Stratford High School alum his first collegiate goal in the 32nd minute.

Martinez wasted little time to record his second career goal as Chris Beeland (Meansville, Ga.) provided his second career assist to see Andrew College take a 4-0 lead in the 37th minute.

Dare Mayomi (Riverdale, Ga.) continued his perfect mark for his career when the Charles R. Drew High School alum scored his second goal of the season and third of his career on as many shots. Mayomi rushed forward and intercepted a pass from the LaGrange defense and charged in on goal where he smashed the ball in to the roof of the net for a commanding 5-0 lead five minutes before the break.

Alan Caballero (Buford, Ga.) helped lead a back line that featured seven different players throughout the evening as Sam Manns (Palm Coast, Fla.) made his first start in net and combined with Josh Kennedy (Placida, Fla.) who made his first collegiate appearance in net to complete the Fighting Tigers first clean sheet of the season.
