Hannah Morris earns GCAA Women’s Player of the Week honors
CUTHBERT, Ga. - Due to her dominant outing in the Tigers' fall finale, Hannah Morris has been selected as the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

On Dec. 11, in the Tigers' final game of the fall semester, Morris posted 16 pts and six rebounds to lead Andrew College to a 69-54 victory over Southern Union State Community College.
The 6-foot-2 freshman from Tri-Cities High School has been a consistent force in the Tigers' lineup, averaging 12.7 pts and 5.7 reb while shooting 50.9% from the floor. Behind her strong play, the Fighting Tigers are riding a four-game winning streak and sit in second place in the GCAA at 7-4 on the season.
Morris joins men's basketball player Elijah Hightower, a Week 3 selection, as the second Tiger to earn the award this school year.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Jan. 7 against Albany Technical College.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
