Preview: Women’s Basketball vs. Southern Crescent Technical College

CUTHBERT, Ga - Conference play is in full swing for the Lady Tigers as they face-off against a familiar foe when they lace them up against Southern Crescent Technical College for the second time in less than five days.

On Saturday, Jan. 10, Andrew College secured a 62-54 victory in a complete team effort. In that matchup all 10 Lady Tigers scored and recorded at least one steal in the game. Jasmyn Thomas helped lead the charge as she put together a gem of a game, posting six points, eight assists, one steal and at 5-foot-7 led all Tigers with 11 boards. 

The Tigers remain undefeated at Jinks gymnasium, sitting at 6-0 but with Southern Crescent coming back into town with a bolstered lineup, this matchup will be a true test for the Tigers especially as the season progresses. 

Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
