Game Preview: Women’s Basketball vs. South Georgia Technical College
CUTHBERT, Ga - Riding an overall three-game win streak, the Lady Tigers will look to extend their home winning streak to nine games as they host South Georgia Technical College at Jinks Gymnasium.
At 11-6 overall, Andrew College is off to its best start since the 2016-17 season, when the Tigers finished 13-16. In their most recent outing, the Lady Tigers picked up a road win against Central Georgia Technical College. In that contest, sophomore G Braniya Baker set the tone with a season-high 24 points.
It also marked their first road victory since a 66-59 win over Reid State Community College on Nov. 13.
Over their three-game stretch, the Fighting Tigers hold a +68 point differential with an average margin of victory of 16 points. Andrew College currently sits in second place in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association standings.
Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
