Andrew College Women's Basketball Falls to Albany Tech 76-66

CUTHBERT, Ga - In a gritty conference matchup versus Albany Technical College, the Andrew College Women's Basketball team fell 76-66 at home.

Wednesday's loss marks their second consecutive defeat and the first time they have lost back-to-back games at home this season. Despite the loss, C Hannah Morris posted another double-digit performance, finishing with 15 points to go along with seven rebounds. The former Player of the Week is averaging 13.1 points per game this season, along with 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per contest.

For the game, Andrew had five players score at least eight points. Unfortunately, timely miscues and 13 missed free throws ultimately proved to be the deciding factor. Albany Tech was led in scoring by Chloe Evans with 19 points, followed by Ava Riley with 14.

Despite Wednesday's setback, Andrew still sits in fourth place in the GCAA with a 4-5 conference record. Their next game is Wednesday, Feb. 18, against Central Georgia Technical College at Jinks Gymnasium.

Andrew College is a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I school located in Cuthbert, Georgia. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrew College will move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, effective July 1, 2026.
