Game Preview: Women’s Basketball Versus East Georgia State College
CUTHBERT, Ga - In their final week of regular-season play, the Andrew College Women's Basketball team takes the floor against East Georgia State College in Jinks Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
The last time these two teams faced off was Saturday, Feb. 28, when Andrew fell 80-53 in a tough road matchup. Despite the loss, G Kezoriyah Blackshear scored a team-high 17 points, followed by Hannah Morris with 12. It marked Blackshear's 10th double-digit scoring performance of the season.
The Fighting Tigers enter Monday's matchup having dropped their last five games, bringing them to .500 at 13-13 on the season. Andrew is just one win away from 14 victories, which would tie the most wins in program history. This marks the third meeting between the two teams this season.
Monday night's contest is one of two games remaining in the regular season for the Lady Tigers. Their final game will be Wednesday, March 4, against South Georgia Technical College. Prior to tip-off, Andrew College will celebrate Sophomore Day, recognizing its veteran Fighting Tigers.
Wednesday's game is set for a 5 p.m. tip-off, followed by Men's Basketball at 7 p.m.
