Bio

Justin Grant enters his first year as the Men’s Assistant Wrestling Coach at Andrew College.

Grant brings more than 10 years of coaching experience across multiple age groups.

Prior to his position at Andrew College, Grant coached at the youth and high school levels, where he trained three high school state placers, three youth state champions, two high school state champions and multiple youth state placers. His teams finished in the top 10 at both the youth and high school levels.

He also spent time volunteering with the women’s wrestling team at Indian Hills Community College during the 2021-22 season, where the program repeated as national champions.

Grant currently competes at the senior level in hopes of qualifying for the U.S. Olympic wrestling team for the 2028 Games.

Over his wrestling career, Grant has won more than 190 high school matches, placed at the high school state tournament three times and competed at the NCAA Division I level at North Carolina State University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

During his collegiate career at Indian Hills Community College, Grant was a team captain, student senate vice president, a two-time national qualifier and finished one win shy of earning All-American honors. During the 2020 and 2021 seasons, both of his teams placed eighth overall at the national tournament. In 2021, he helped lead his team to an Iowa Community College Athletic Conference team championship.

Grant finished his collegiate career at Brewton-Parker College, where he posted a 20-4 record as a team captain. He studied exercise science and graduated early with a Bachelor of Science in general studies from Brewton-Parker College.
