Volleyball Serves their way to Victory in 3-0 sweep Home Opener

Cuthbert, Ga- Andrew Volleyball Wins Home Opener

The Andrew College Women's Volleyball faced off against Agnes Scott College.

The Fighting Tigers were coming off of a rough weekend as they did not win a match during the EFSC Titan Invitational.

Andrew from the start was ready for victory as in the first two sets they took a commanding ten point lead and won both of the first two sets. The Fighting Tigers were getting aces & kills left and right and did not let Agnes get into a groove offensively at all.

While in the third set the Fighting Tigers started to get a little too relaxed and was tied in the set up until the midway point in the third set and coach Harris called a timeout to tell his team to finish the game strong and play Fighting Tigers Volleyball. The Fighting Tigers did end up winning the set, hence having a clean sweep with winning 3 sets to none.

The next game for the Fighting Tigers Women's Volleyball team will be tomorrow on September 9th vs Enterprise State Community College at 4pm EST at the Jinks Gymnasium in Cuthbert, GA.

Andrew College is an NJCAA Div.1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
