CARROLLTON, Ga. -- After managing only 3 hits and dropping game one, 5-0 to West Georgia Tech, the Tigers sent left-hander Andrew Patrick to the mound in game two, and he responded by scattering 8 hits over 5.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run and striking out 4 to earn his second win of the season, as the visitors led from start to finish in the 6-3 victory. Brock Balis earned his 1st collegiate save with 1.2 innings of hitless relief, striking out 1.
Michael Branche paced the offense in game two, going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI, Jack Bell doubled in a pair of runs, Ricardo Sanjurjo plated the Tigers last run with a sac fly, while Deion Sellers and Mike Warren each had a hit as the Tigers scored 6 runs on 5 hits.
Game one saw Blake Rupp, Sellers, and Bell with the Tigers only hits, as they were shutout for only the second time this season.
The Tigers will take on the Golden Knights on Sunday in a single nine inning game to complete the season series.
