The Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame was created to recognize and honor former student-athletes, teams, coaches, and athletic administrators who have made outstanding contributions and achieved significant success in the Andrew College Fighting Tigers athletic programs.
To be eligible for the Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame, individuals must be part of at least one of the following groups: athletes, teams, coaches or athletic administrators.
As the Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame continues to grow, the department encourages Andrew College alumni and the Cuthbert community to submit nominations for teams, student-athletes and administrators who made a lasting impact on Andrew College Athletics. To nominate an individual, visit

Joe Nasco
Nasco is a 2025 inductee of the Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame.
Nasco attended Andrew College from 2003-04 and was a star for the Fighting Tigers over his two seasons in Cuthbert. Nasco was a two-time All-American at Andrew and later graduated with his Associates Degree in Sports Administration.
Following his time at Andrew, Nasco transferred to Division II Birmingham-Southern College in 2005. He later played professionally for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers (NASL), Colorado Rapids (MLS) and Atlanta Silverbacks (NASL) over the course of his professional career.
Jimmy Gilbert
Gilbert is a 2024 inductee into the Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame. He was inducted alongside Wimberly as inaugural members of the Athletics Hall of Fame.
Gilbert began working at Andrew College as a physical education instructor in the 1970s. While maintaining his role as a professor, he later served as Dean of Students, Athletic Director and Head Men's Soccer Coach. Gilbert played a pivotal role in the expansion of Andrew College Athletics and laid the foundation for the current state of Andrew College Athletics. The past success of Andrew College Soccer during the '90s and early 2000s is largely due to the hard work and dedication of Gilbert both on and off the field. His programs went on to win multiple GCAA championships and regional tournaments.
Jalin Wimberly
Wimberly is a 2024 inductee of the Andrew College Athletics Hall of Fame.
Hailing from Leesburg, Ga, Wimberly was a member of the Andrew College Basketball team from 2017-19. Over his two years in Cuthbert, Wimberly was a dominant force on both sides of the ball and was an immediate contributor to the Fighting Tigers roster.
As a freshman, Wimberly averaged 15 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.0 apg. His freshman year was highlighted by a 50-point performance from Jinks Gymnasium, earning his NJCAA Player of the Week Honors.
During his sophomore season, Wimberly improved on an already impressive year by averaging 19.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 4.0 apg while securing the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Player of the Year award, First-Team All-GCAA honors, Third-Team All-American recognition and helped lead his team to a GCAA regular-season championship.
"There's honestly no words I can put together to explain how honored I am to be inducted into this Hall of Fame," said Wimberly when asked about his induction. "I'm beyond excited and truly taken aback by this recognition. Thank you to everyone who chose me to represent this award. I've always been told that everywhere I go I need to leave a legacy, and this is one way to do it by having my name go down in the history books."
