Mission Statement:
The Andrew College Athletic Department is committed to the general welfare of its student-athletes and embraces the Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership as outlined by the NAIA. The department is dedicated to providing athletic programs that foster the development of the whole person through a commitment to academic achievement, character development, and athletic competition.
Embraced in the mission of the Andrew College Athletic Department are the following principles:
- To provide support in all areas of student-athlete welfare, including academics, physical and emotional well-being, social development, personal growth, health and wellness, career development, and community service.
- To recruit student-athletes who are committed to academic and athletic excellence and who will represent Andrew College with distinction on campus, in competition, and within the community.
- To prepare student-athletes for success at the next level, both academically and athletically, while equipping them for lifelong achievement.
- To provide facilities, equipment, training, and healthcare resources that give student-athletes the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- To maintain a sound financial foundation through responsible stewardship and management of resources.
- To operate in compliance with all rules and regulations of Andrew College, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
- To employ coaches and staff who exemplify the values of Andrew College, the SSAC, and the NAIA through integrity, professionalism, moral conduct, and sportsmanship.
- To make Andrew College Athletics an enduring source of pride for its student-athletes, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.
Vision Statement:
In keeping with its Christian heritage, Andrew College provides an environment which prepares students for a changing world and enables them to understand themselves as persons of responsibility and potential. Cultivating intellectual, social and spiritual growth with attention on the individual is a hallmark of the Andrew College educational experience. Andrew College is not sectarian and its services are open without regard to race, gender, ethnicity, creed, or economic status.
