BARNESVILLE, Ga. -- The Tigers needed a sweep on Saturday, but game one ended with the tying run at third to drop a 6-5 decision to Gordon State and eliminate the Tigers from the post season. The Highlanders won game two 11-9.
Anthony Young and Michael Branche both doubled twice in game one, with Branche driving in a run, while Deion Sellers homered in a pair of runs.
The Tigers put up 11 hits in game two, with Young going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI, Jack Bell had 2 hits, including his 5th HR, and had 2 RBI, Brett Anderson also hit his 5th HR of the season and had 2 RBI, and Michael Warren and Jake Warren each went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
