TIFTON, Ga. -- The Andrew College softball team split a doubleheader against ABAC in Tifton on Wednesday, dropping game one 4-2, before taking the nightcap 4-1.
In the 4-1 win, Dale Elmore tossed a complete game, allowing just 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3, to pick up her 6th win of the season, Devin Foster went 2 for 3, with a triple and an RBI, Elmore and DeeAurah Bradshaw each singled in a run, and the Lady Tigers played error free.
Andrew managed just five hits in the 4-2 loss, with Emily Phillips going 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored, Bradshaw singling in a run, and Brianna Neese doubling, as the Tigers couldn't come up with big hit.
The Tigers travel to Georgia Highlands on Sunday for a 1:00 pm doubleheader.
