Andrew College

Brayden Merrill enters his first year as the Head Gameday Coach and Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the Fighting Tigers.

A native of Bartow, Florida, Merrill brings 10 years of cheerleading experience to Andrew College. He began his cheer career in his hometownthen later continued his career as a student-athlete at the University of West Georgia.

During his collegiate career, Merrill became a three-time UCA Collegiate Champion and gained experience working alongside a variety of athletes and coaches. Throughout his time in cheerleading, he developed a strong focus on self-discipline, leadership and understanding the skills necessary to perform at the highest level.

Merrill also gained coaching experience while in college, where he had the opportunity to watch student-athletes grow and develop skills they once thought were out of reach. He brings that same passion for development to Andrew College, with an emphasis on pushing student-athletes to be their best both individually and as a team.

Merrill graduated from the University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
