Jake Lindmeier enters his first season as an Assistant Baseball Coach and Hitting Coach for the Fighting Tigers.
Lindmeier brings more than a decade of coaching and player development experience to Andrew College across the collegiate, high school, travel and professional levels.
Prior to joining the Fighting Tigers, Lindmeier spent nearly five seasons as an Assistant Coach at Dallas College Brookhaven before being named Interim Head Coach during the 2026 season. As Interim Head Coach, he oversaw all aspects of the program, including player development, practice planning, game strategy, scouting, staff coordination, academic accountability and daily operations.
Lindmeier also serves as the Director of Player Development and 18U National Head Coach for American Freedom Softball. In his role, he has been responsible for creating offensive and defensive development programs, practice planning, recruiting assistance and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a national-level program.
In 2015, Lindmeier founded Catching with Cheese, a player development program through which he has worked with catchers ranging from the youth level to the professional ranks. His instruction includes receiving, blocking, throwing, game management and pitcher-catcher relationships. His professional experience also includes offseason bullpen work with Minor League and Major League pitchers.
Lindmeier's previous coaching stops also include the Brooks Bombers of the WCBL, Dallas Patriots, Spanish River High School, XL Baseball Academy, Foundation Performance Academy, TCS Postgrad and Keiser University.
His coaching philosophy centers on building relationships, effective communication and creating independent problem-solvers. Lindmeier's goal is to create an environment that challenges players, allows them to learn through trial and error and ultimately prepares them to take ownership of their development.
Lindmeier earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management from Jarvis Christian College in 2022.
