Sean Stevens enters his first season as the Head Baseball Coach for the Fighting Tigers.
Stevens becomes the first Head Baseball Coach at Andrew College to lead the Fighting Tigers as members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
Stevens came to Andrew College after spending three seasons at Middle Georgia State University, where he served as the Pitching Coach, Recruiting Coordinator and Performance Coach. During his time with the program, Stevens focused on developing pitchers, recruiting high-level talent and implementing performance-driven training programs to help student-athletes reach their full potential.
Stevens brings nearly a decade of collegiate coaching experience to Cuthbert, having coached at multiple levels while also spending time in some of the nation's top summer collegiate baseball leagues. His collegiate coaching experience includes stops at Middle Georgia State, Keystone College, Edward Waters University and Trinity Baptist College.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Stevens has coached in the Cape Cod Baseball League, Coastal Plain League and Prospect League.
Prior to entering the collegiate coaching ranks, Stevens played professional baseball in Argentina, the Desert League and the Empire League of Professional Baseball.
Stevens is a former collegiate student-athlete at Thomas University and Aurora University. Throughout his coaching career, he has emphasized player development, recruiting and performance while working to build a culture centered on accountability, hard work and excellence.
