CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Lady Tigers (6-8-1) managed to pull off a 1-0 win over non-region foe Polk State College (Fla.) Friday afternoon. This was the final regular season home game for the Tigers as they also celebrated nine sophomores' in their final game played on Hord Field.
Andrew found the game winner in the 82nd minute as Kayla Kieffer delivered a corner kick into the box that bounced off a Polk defender into their back of the net for an own goal. Raquel Hauss recorded her fifth win in net and second shutout on the year.
The 2015 graduating class includes: Hannah Stanley, Rachel Bogue, Alys Maynord, Kayla Kieffer, Ilaria Berni, Carleigh Hoelzel, Emily Boggess, Tessa Bates and Sadie Springer
Andrew will play its final regular season game on the road to South Georgia State College. Kickoff is set for 2:00 P.M.
