CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College women's basketball team fell behind early, against Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) power, Georgia Highlands College Saturday afternoon in the Jinks Gymnasium, and despite a pretty even second half, couldn't overcome the halftime deficit and fell 70-51. The Lady Tigers fell to 1-1, in both regular season and region records.
Alexis Powell paced Andrew, scoring 12 points, and added 3 assists, L'Trinity Eubanks came off the bench to add 11 points, Dawniqua Snead added 10 points and 4 steals, and Nijhala Alexander chipped in with 7 rebounds.
The Lady Tigers go on the road Wednesday, traveling to Warner Robins to take on Central Georgia Tech, tip off at 5:30 pm.
