CUTHBERT, Ga. – The Andrew College Men's Cross Country team returns to the course Friday, Sept. 11, as the Fighting Tigers travel to Albany for the Willie Laster Cross Country Invite hosted by Albany State University at Radium Springs Park.

Andrew will compete against host Albany State, Columbus State, Fort Valley State, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Georgia Military College, LaGrange, LBW Community College, Marion Military Institute, Morehouse and Savannah State.

Radium Springs Park features an open course with grassy terrain and several rolling hills. The course also features a long start and finish stretch to accommodate large field sizes.

"Three of our student-athletes in Elijah Caudle, Javien Butts and Kenderius Steen are from the regional area with Caudle & Butts having attended Dougherty High School, while Steen went to Lee County in Leesburg," Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach McKinley Ward-La Salle said. "They have some familiarity with this course and environment. We look forward to racing in the regional area and representing Andrew College."

The Willie Laster Cross Country Invite marks the second meet of the season for the Fighting Tigers following their season-opening performance at the VSU Border Clash on Sept. 4.

Located in Cuthbert, Georgia, Andrew College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 16 sports and compete in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
