CUTHBERT, Ga – On Thursday, Sept. 17, the Fighting Tigers will take the pitch for a non-conference matchup against HBCU, Talladega College out of Alabama.

The Fighting Tigers enter Thursday's match on a three-game skid following a 2-0 win over Florida College on Sept. 3. During that stretch, Andrew has a minus-six goal differential, having scored just once, coming against Blue Mountain Christian University on Sept. 10.

Andrew will face a Talladega team coming to Cuthbert in search of its first win of the season. The Tornadoes are 0-5 overall and 0-1 on the road following a tough 8-0 loss to Blue Mountain Christian on Aug. 29. The last time Andrew faced a Talladega Tornadoes team was on Sept. 3 when the Lady Tornadoes dominated on the pitch, beating the Lady Tigers soccer team 15-1.

After consecutive conference matchups, Men's Soccer will take a break from conference play. Thursday's match will also conclude a six-game homestand that began Saturday, Aug. 29, against Johnson University.

Despite a tough start offensively, the Fighting Tigers' defense has remained a bright spot, regardless of what the box score may show. Andrew has been led defensively by Captain Dumisani Chatata, Petar Gromiko and goalkeeper Teagan Paulo.

Through four games this season, Paulo leads the Southern States Athletic Conference with a .837 save percentage and 36 total saves.
Thursday's match is set for 5 p.m. at Hord Athletic Complex Field.
