CUTHBERT, Ga - Coming off a tough loss to Johnson University on Saturday to open their home schedule, the Fighting Tigers look to bounce back as they face Florida College out of Temple Terrace, Florida.

Andrew will look to defend its home field and find the win column as the Fighting Tigers search for their first victory as members of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

Coming into Thursday's matchup, the Fighting Tigers, despite what box scores may display, have dominated defensively. Starting goalkeeper Teagan Paulo has logged 22 saves through the first two matches of the season, including 15 in the season opener against NCAA Division II Georgia Southwestern.

Despite their strong play on the defensive side of the ball, the Fighting Tigers have yet to find the back of the net. Through their first two matches, Andrew has allowed nine goals while continuing to search for its first goal of the season.

At 2 p.m. at Hord Athletic Complex, the Fighting Tigers will face a Florida College team that has also yet to find the win column. However, the Falcons did open the season with a 1-1 draw against Florida Memorial. Despite not being able to pick up their first win of the season, the Falcons, similar to the Fighting Tigers, have shown several defensive bright spots regardless of the scoreboard.

Florida College's starting goalkeeper, Ismael Hererra, has compiled 17 saves while playing 225 minutes this season.

Thursday's match against Florida College marks the second home contest of the season for the Fighting Tigers and the second of a five-game homestand that concludes Sept. 17 against Talladega College out of Alabama.

Thursday's match is scheduled for 2 p.m., followed by the first home match of the season for Andrew College Women's Soccer at 4 p.m.

Located in Cuthbert, Georgia, Andrew College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 16 sports and compete in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
