CUTHBERT, Ga. – On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Fighting Tigers will defend their home court once again in a highly anticipated conference matchup against Brewton-Parker Christian University.

The last time these two teams faced off was Oct. 8, 2019, with the Fighting Tigers taking the match, 3-1. Saturday will mark Andrew's first time facing Brewton-Parker as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

Previously at the Net

In their last match, the Fighting Tigers took home a dominant 3-1 victory over Wesleyan College for their first home win of the season.
The Fighting Tigers were led by Ja'Nyshia Graham, who tallied nine kills on 10 total attacks with zero attack errors. She also logged three service aces and a team-high 12 points on the night.

The victory marked the Fighting Tigers' second win of the season and gave Andrew some much-needed momentum heading into Saturday's conference matchup.

The Opponent: The Barons

The Fighting Tigers will take the court against a talented Barons team that enters the matchup 10-4 overall with a 2-1 conference record.
In their last match against Faulkner on Sept. 25, the Barons fell, 3-1, snapping their two-game winning streak.

The Barons will look to find the win column once again and continue moving up the conference standings. Brewton-Parker currently sits in third place in the SSAC standings.

Saturday's game will be played at 1 p.m. in Jinks Gymnasium.
