CUTHBERT, Ga. – On Saturday, Sept. 19, the Fighting Tigers return home to Standifer Field in Blakely, Ga., for their second home matchup of the season when they face the Tennessee Valley Defenders out of Huntsville, Ala.

The Fighting Tigers are currently riding a three-game skid to start the 2026 season and will look to find the win column as they prepare for the remainder of their schedule.

With Tennessee Valley being a prep institution, Saturday's game will not count toward team or player statistics or Andrew's official record.

Previously on the Gridiron

The last time the Fighting Tigers took the field was against the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Fighting Tigers fell on the road, 42-7, for their third consecutive loss. Through their first three games, the Fighting Tigers have lost by an average margin of 41.3 points.

However, Andrew began the season against some tough competition, including NCAA Division II Shorter University and then-No. 20 Georgetown College.

The Opponent: The Defenders

The Defenders enter Saturday's matchup 1-0 on the season following a dominant 41-7 win over Dega U.

The last time these two teams faced off was Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. The Fighting Tigers controlled the game from the opening kickoff, securing a 33-0 victory.

Andrew was led offensively by Ty-ren Randolph, who passed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
