CUTHBERT, Ga. – On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Fighting Tigers hit the road to face the Toccoa Falls Screaming Eagles in a nonconference matchup. This marks the first meeting between the two schools since Andrew joined the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

Previously on the Pitch

The last time the Fighting Tigers took the field was Thursday, Sept. 24, against Freed-Hardeman University at home. The Fighting Tigers were unfortunately unable to get into a groove offensively, falling, 2-0, at Hord Athletic Complex. It marked their second consecutive loss following a 4-0 shutout victory over Talladega College.

The Opponent: The Screaming Eagles

Toccoa Falls enters Saturday's matchup following a 3-1 win over Pensacola Christian. The Screaming Eagles saw three different players find the back of the net, including Corey Pennington, Nathen Spearing and Patricio Bennevendo.

Pennington leads the Screaming Eagles with 11 goals on the season, followed by senior winger Bennevendo with 10. The Screaming Eagles enter the matchup 2-2-1 on the season and hold a 2-1-1 record at Screaming Eagle Soccer Field.
