Tigers Add Four More Names to GCAA All-Region List

Cuthbert, GA - The Andrew College baseball program is proud to announce that four additional student-athletes have received GCAA All-Region honors for the 2024–25 season, following a year of exceptional performance and team success. These honors reflect both the depth of talent on the roster and the individual commitment each player made to elevate the Tigers on and off the field.

Jack Quick – First Team Infield

Jack Quick delivered one of the most dominant offensive seasons in Andrew College history, earning First Team Infield recognition alongside a Gold Glove at first base. Quick was a consistent power threat, compiling 68 hits, including 17 home runs, 14 doubles, and 3 triples, while driving in a team-high 85 RBIs. He finished the year with a scorching .412 batting average, an on-base percentage of .564, and a staggering 1.407 OPS, all while slugging at an elite .842 clip.

Defensively, Quick was just as impressive. With 332 total chances at first base, he made only two errors, posting a .994 fielding percentage and serving as a rock for the Tigers' infield unit.

Al Nsah – First Team Infield

Al Nsah made waves nationally, leading the country with 56 stolen bases and earning First Team Infield honors. A sparkplug at the top of the order, Nsah was an offensive catalyst all season long, collecting 69 hits, including 17 doubles, 5 triples, and 6 home runs. He crossed the plate 80 times—one of the highest totals in the region—and drove in 42 runs while hitting .388 with an OBP of .545 and an OPS of 1.186.

His speed, aggressive baserunning, and ability to consistently get on base made him a nightmare for opposing pitchers and a key factor in Andrew's offensive rhythm.

Luke Turner – First Team Outfield

Luke Turner's consistency and power earned him First Team Outfield honors after an outstanding season at the plate. Turner tallied 67 hits, 15 doubles, 1 triple, and 13 home runs, driving in 61 RBIs and hitting .396 overall. His OBP of .490 and OPS of 1.218 reflect just how impactful he was every time he stepped into the batter's box.

Turner also provided valuable leadership in the outfield, offering a steady glove and veteran presence in key moments.

Braden Simmons – Second Team Catcher

Behind the plate, Braden Simmons was as dependable as they come and was recognized with a Second Team All-Region selection. Simmons contributed 49 hits, including 12 doubles and 6 home runs, while driving in 41 runs and hitting .325. His .464 OBP and nearly .990 OPS made him a tough out in the heart of the order, while his work defensively helped stabilize the pitching staff and manage the tempo of games.

Simmons' ability to handle the rigors of catching while still being an offensive contributor speaks volumes about his toughness and baseball IQ.
